Helmets are essential accessories when it comes to the biking community. It is the very essence of safety, a commodity that protects you from the harsh elements. Needless to say, helmets need to be treated with respect and showered with care.

Well, when it comes to me, I handle my helmet with the utmost care. There have been times when I have spent hours cleaning, caressing, and pampering my helmet, to a level where my better half starts to get jealous..! Unfortunately, till now, I have had to leave my helmet on my shelf for prolonged times, exposed to dust and other lovely elements like insects, thanks to the current pandemic situation that we are facing. This left a very damp and tacky smell inside. Ultimately, in turn, lead to me washing the paddings of my helmet very frequently, leading to a possibility of them deteriorating quickly.

But, not anymore. Thanks to the blokes at BoltOn Design, I now have a Made in India dedicated, safe place to store the costliest part of my riding gear..! my helmet..! The best part? I can flaunt it and display it in a way where even I can enjoy watching it.

No Assembly required!!!

When Prateek from BoltOn Design decided to produce a multipurpose helmet stand, he had to put a lot of R & D into it. His idea of the helmet stand was to produce a very simple, elegant, and extremely poised holder christened as “The Urban Moto Helmet Hanger” which not only safely mounts your helmet but also has a hook, where you can suspend your other riding gear like riding jacket and pants… How cool is that?

The Stand is designed in a simple yet elegant L-shape Steel, powder-coated in matte black. The top portion of the stand has a slot where you can mount an L plate with a wingnut below to tighten. This allows you to adjust the depth of the holder in a way to keep it as per your helmet’s length. The design has been cleverly managed in a way where there are no hindrances in the mounting the helmet, and there are no chances of any scratches on the helmet. All of this assembly is securely mounted into the wall with 2 simple screws, that’s it..!

Should you purchase it?

In two words – “Hell Yes.!!”. I would not be able to comprehend why one would not buy the stand. The stand allows you to safely store your helmet.
