A Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Scrambler by VP designs

Introduced for the first time in 2018, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 was the first parallel twin motorcycle from the house of Royal Enfield in India. It is a retro-styled roadster, which quickly became popular due to its looks and also due to the fact that it provided good amounts of power at an accessible price point. (more upcoming models here)

Being a Royal Enfield it quickly became a canvas for modification around the world due to its minimalistic design and style. There are a lot of customizations that one can make to the bike and there are a plethora of options that add a very personalized touch to it.

In a similar way, VPdesigns from Mumbai has customized the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 into a handsome-looking scrambler. When viewed from up close you will see that there are a number of modifications that have gone into the bike. The team started by firstly changing the color of the bike, by changing to colors black, Light & dark grey, and golden pinstriping throughout. The overall stance of the bike has been majorly altered to increase the ground clearance. On the front side, the bike receives an upside-down fork with massive travel. The stock Headlamp has been replaced by a LED instead of the stock which was a halogen. The front fender is removed and the bike receives a small beak to complete the scrambler look.

The stock analog speedo has been replaced by a negative LCD. The handlebars were replaced with wider ones. The rear side of the frame has been modified a bit and swooped to the upper side. The stock rear fender has been discarded and replaced with a short custom-made fender. Even the exhaust pipes have been covered with a thick cloth to give the bike a rugged look.

Apart from all these mods, what sets the bike apart from the crowd is the color scheme. Donning the 2 tones of grey along with the black and highlights of Golden color, the bike absolutely incredible. The Golden pinstripes have been carefully done on the tank and quarter panels by hand and with absolute precision.

Apart from the pinstripes, the bike also receives beautiful highlights of golden accents throughout on various parts like exhaust caps, rear shock containers, etc. The stock tires also have been ditched for knobbies to give the scrambler look.
